Today with another download manager after my friend peter (his nickname “admin” ) had write an article about FDM on this link, I really encouraged to write about Gigaget Download Manager ,Gigaget is my favorite program in download managers field and it had a good features too , may be as peter said that Gigaget isn’t distinctive as FDM , but the most impressive feature in Gigaget wonderful download speed and it is speeder than Fdm as i noticed, any way as usual in FosDir we offer to you free softwares and remind to you their characteristics and features and you are the judge on these programmes to choose your preferred programs that consistent with your needs ….

Free Download Manager or ” FDM ”

From the version 2.5 released under GNU (General Public License) , and before that it was free to use

FDM Tested On :
Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 Server/Vista

Really one of the best open source download manager right now.
what i can say about it ….. from the first edition of this program i was use it , it was very simple and very powerful compare with others download managers in his age , the program had many advantages and it’s really had a good speed in downloading specially in the newer versions
